The brief
Event planners rarely rent one item. They need registration kiosks, AV, reveal mechanisms and furniture for the same date, and they want one price for all of it.
So the site had to work like a shop without being one: browse a catalogue, build a list, and get a single quotation back. Behind it, the team needed to turn those lists into quotations and invoices without retyping everything into their accounting software.
What we built
A catalogue with a quote cart
Equipment across six categories with specs and lead times. Visitors add items to one list and request one quotation.
Client accounts
A login-protected portal where clients see their enquiries and quotations, secured at the database level.
An admin back office
Service enquiries, quotations, invoices, and users with roles, managed in one place.
Branded quotation PDFs
Quotations generated as branded PDFs and emailed to the client straight from the admin.
Xero sync
Approved quotations and invoices sync to Xero, and payment status flows back automatically.
Planning guides
Articles that answer the questions planners actually ask, written to rank on Google and in AI answers.
